Effects of Mobile Technology

  The Impact Of Mobile phones:

Positive Effects Of Mobile Phone Use In Our Society And Environment:

As long as there is someone in the world who has knowledge on something, with the coming of technology our lives have become easier.  Mobile phones are everywhere in this world; it is impossible to run ourselves without them. Each and every day, it’s like they can do anything even if their size makes you think like that.

1: Communication:

Every human activity is connected to communication in one way or another. As it happens, even the need to colonize space—a not-so-ancient human dream—is connected to communication. While space exploration is no longer just an impossible dream, how can you imagine colonizing other planets without any effective form of…communication? These days the tools for dealing with this process are more advanced than ever before. Accessibility isn’t a problem anymore. A simple device like a mobile phone has the power to connect people all over the globe, no matter where they may be. We don’t have to worry about that now that phones are readily available and easy to carry - but their technology goes far beyond that! Social networks allow us to talk with our loved ones on nearly a daily basis if we want to. They also provide an opportunity for billions of people all over the world communicate at the same time - via trends, pictures, memes etc

2: Entertainment:

From the latest Hollywood blockbuster to videos from local news networks, phones give us an endless variety of content at our fingertips. No longer do we have to wait for a movie to come out or a TV episode to air - many of your favorite content options are available instantly, meaning you can truly be entertained whenever you want. Phones also double as gaming consoles for people who love playing games, and they're an excellent way to avoid boredom when waiting in line at the bank or supermarket!

3: Daily Utilities: Apart from communication and entertainment, there are mobile apps that allow us to move about, or get things done without any hassle. From making payments to booking cabs and hotels, to online maps for navigation purposes, mobile phones can take photos of all our beloved memorable moments. A smartphone truly does it all!

4: Organization:

Smartphones make it easy to stay organized. People who own them carry all their important documents on hand, which makes managing even large projects much easier. Plus, you can send emails, store important notes and memos on your calendar, and more!

4 Negative Effects Of Mobile Phones On Our Lives:

As humans, we are all prone to instant gratification. We crave it, and boy howdy do we deserve it! But with this modern technology that's around all the time nowadays, there's just too much of a good thing. And studies show that cell phones, despite making our lives so much easier, can actually be pretty awful for your brain activity. Some of the ways they negatively affect us include:

1:Addiction:

Cell phone addiction is completely real. There are numerous articles out there that show just how excessive users get with their phones, which has resulted in the term "nomophobia" to describe this phenomenon, which means fear of being without your cell phone. We know that 50 percent of teens are affected by this phobia, which usually doesn't start to appear in people younger than the age of eighteen years old.

2: Waste of time:

The world has gone mobile and we're not just talking about marketers trying to get you to use your cell phone more. With smartphones continuing to find their way into our everyday lives, it's no wonder there is a phenomenon known as Nomophobia - or in other words, the fear of being out of cell phone contact. Nomophobia affects over 50% of teens and is considered by experts to be an addiction largely due to this age group's frequent usage of social media apps. Mobile phone addictions can go beyond the symptoms that most people already know about such as phone-snatching devices, ringtones, vibration alerts or even text message vibrations that startle some folks awake in the middle of sleep.

3: Cause of Depression:

According to the studies presented above, mobile phones have been traced as a contributor to mental illness including depression and loneliness. Things have changed drastically with the onset of social media websites. Modern teenagers are either spending too much time looking at their own social media accounts, often obsessively trying to increase their likes and followers or they are busy posting “selfies” on said platforms which is causing them to miss out on regular meaningful physical interactions.

4: Distraction:

"With the rise in smart phones has come an increasing number of app that encourage social networking. These apps give us a sense of community and enable us to stay connected with important people in our lives, but at what cost? We have been trained from a young age to rely on our phones for almost any information we need, from accessing the internet to finding directions, but these advantages can lead to some serious drawbacks. When we rely so much on technology for even the most trivial of tasks, it becomes a crutch, a barrier between ourselves and reality"
